Love Park Lego
A Miniature Love Park (Thanks Big Mac ❤️)
I’ve always wished I’d had the chance to skate Love Park. The whole ledge plaza scene is everything I love about skateboarding—open space to push, granite ledges, and the squad. We had our versions in Sydney—Martin Place, Chifley, Hyde Park—but nothing close to the scale or cultural significance of Love.
This LEGO Love Park set was a surprise gift from my brother, Big Mac. He knew I needed a little mindfulness in my life, so he sent this. We grew up skating together in the '90s, so he understood the meaning behind it too. It’s a very thoughtful gift—love ya Big Mac ❤️
The way the set comes together was really cool, it was almost hard to tell what I was building for periods but then it all comes together like magic.
I always loved that photo of Stippo 5-0’ing through the ‘E’ by Lobster aka: Thomas Robinson from a Pass~Port trip, so when I took the photos I threw on the fisheye to try and copy it with a finger board hahaha. I like it!
