Pharrell Williams ‘Over The Moon’ LEGO Kit Review – A Nostalgic Favourite Built with My Son
Having a kid is the ultimate excuse to get back into the toys I loved growing up—for me, LEGO was a favourite. Like most kids who grew up in the 80s, I was obsessed with it. These days, my lovely wife fully supports my nostalgia and often surprises me with LEGO sets for birthdays and Christmas.
Last Christmas, she gifted me the Pharrell Williams ‘Over The Moon’ LEGO kit, and for sure it’s the best set I’ve built in adulthood.
My son and I made a ritual out of it, building a bag together each morning over a few days. Admittedly, he would lose interest after a while, and I’d finish the section solo—which was much easier. The way this set comes together—the build sequence, the thoughtful design, and the final look—that makes it one of the best. A perfect mix of nostalgia and creativity.
