An Australian Wedding
I shot my second wedding back in Australia in April, I also gave away the bride… it was my baby sisters wedding. Her and her partner have been together for over 20 years and they have 3 kids so don’t get too excited.
While wedding photography isn’t my main focus, I do know how to capture a good moment and I’m good with people so it ended up being a lot of fun. I really liked the idea of capturing the moments that were happening to side of things eg: the ladybugs and my son and nephews looking at them. Weddings aren’t all eyelashes and veils, there’s other great moments happening to side of frame and I wanted to show that.
My sister sent me some reference pictures of what she wanted her images to look like. The sort of washed out, contrasty colours as well as a few set-ups that we shot too. Everything turned out great and my sister was super happy, which is really all that matters.
